Seward, Alaska.
I spent a little bit of time in Alaska in 2014. Mostly I was in Seward and would venture around that general area of the State. Seward resides in the Kenai Fjords National Park, which is a glacier park. This area is quite the adventure, basically anything goes. You can pull over on the side of the road, set up a fire, and camp all the while carrying a gun just in case a moose or a bear decides to stop by and say "hi". During the time that I was there it was predominately light out ,with a very short night time, also during the beginning sightings of the Northern Lights. It's truly a beautiful State, and there is a lot to do and also not much to do, it's interesting.
