I like to photograph people in their own environment opposed to in a studio, usually. As much as I like using lights in a studio setting, I tend to use it more as a way of learning to use light. I really enjoy creating my own light to create a scene or use what light is available to my advantage. Understanding light is the hardest part for a photographer, but it always, makes or breaks an image.
